NetRoofer is a Proposed National Roofing Contractors Cooperative with an anticipated formal launch date of mid 2009.  This is a shared services type Cooperative and is funded by "Patronage Dividends" (rebate revenue) that flow thru the Co-Op and are redistributed to the members based on their purchase volume from the "Preferred Vendors" (roofing manufacturers and distributors).

NetRoofer.com is also a web portal for contractors and consumers.

The inspiration came from our esteemed roofing distributors most of whom, if not all, are members of large national purchasing groups. 

Small business is "Big Business" in the roofing & siding industry.  The small contractors with sales under 25 million per year are paying too much for shingles & other materials while the manufacturers channel the major "rebate funds" to distributors & homebuilders.

In addition to the "Patronage Dividend Revenue" members will be able to enhance their business with these tools provided by Co-Op membership.
